Working with clients in all different verticals keeps us on our toes. One day we could be working hand in hand with a music festival and the next sending a fully customized unit to tour the nation for health insurance open enrollment. Our product is SO unique that it actually allows our clients to think outside of the box. What would normally be a standard activation turns into something special when the potential of using a FORTS System is unleashed. This was exactly the case when we collaborated with Blue Cross Health Insurance on their vision for a mobile enrollment center.

Blue Cross came to us with a pretty specific plan as to how they wanted their “mobile enrollment center” to function. We took their vision, understood their expectations and end goals, then explained how working with us is a much different experience than any other mobile space provider. We explained how we at FORTS Services are more than just a simple space provider, we focus on finding a solution for any and all problems our customers could potentially face. That is where the “Services” part of FORTS Services comes into play. We transformed what would have been a run of the mill activation into an experiential marketing platform/ revenue generating profit center at an extremely high level.

Just to name a few of the customizations to the unit we made to take the activation above and beyond: we completely wrapped the unit in Blue Cross branding, suggested a multi-room unit to create a lobby with 2 private offices, and swapped out our standard doors with beautiful glass doors that we could brand like the rest of the unit. Our concept was to maximize brand awareness and recognition in every possible way. We even made sure to wrap the unit in a way that created a mobile billboard. This allowed the unit to be “working” even when it wasn’t activated. Minutes matter and little innovations like creating that mobile billboard when the unit was closed ensured that we maximized operational time.

Another aspect of this very specific activation was on the logistics, scheduling, planning and mobility side of things. We were able to understand their goals of moving the unit to underserved areas to reach their target demographic. No other mobile space provider could and/ or would go to the lengths we did to make sure a unit of that size (20×20) could easily be set-up and broken down in order to move to a new location as quickly as we did. We made sure we were completely on the same page as the client when it came down to the biggest factors in this activation: Mobility, Marketing and Functionality.
